We Help You Serve Them Better.

You already know the families in your community who are struggling. Your counselors, case workers, and staff see it every day — parents stretched too thin, children coming to school without what they need, families one setback away from a real crisis.

The A Lot of Good Partner Program gives your organization a way to do more for those families without adding to your workload or budget. We provide monthly shopping vouchers that your team distributes directly to the families you choose. Those families use the vouchers to shop at the A Lot of Good Thrift Store in Upland — free of charge.

This is not a referral program that sends families somewhere else and hopes for the best. Your team stays in control. You decide which families receive vouchers. You distribute them. You see the difference directly in the people you already serve.

Clothing for the whole family. Household essentials. Baby gear. Books and supplies. Whatever the family needs most — they shop for it themselves, with dignity, in a real store.

Your Organization Applies

You reach out to A Lot of Good to become an approved partner. Complete the Partner Application and send to partners@alotofgood.org..

We Get To Know Each Other

You will get a call from A Lot of Good to discuss your organization and determine how a partnership would be beneficial and which level of partnership would be best.

Approval & Next Steps

Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation call about your Partnership. If you are a Community or Hospital Partner, information about voucher delivery and timelines will be determined. All partners will be advised on how to make a bulk item request.

Communicate & Review

We love to chat with our Partners. if you have questions, issues, or suggestion, please call us, and we will do the same.

Each year all Partners will be reviewed for continuation for the next year.

The Partner Program has three levels, each designed for a different type of organization. Every level gives your team a tool it did not have before: a way to provide physical goods to families in need without spending your own.

Think of it as adding a service to your offering without adding a line item to your budget. The families you serve get more — and so do you.

MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

     HOSPITAL PARTNERS

      MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

Hospitals and medical centers often treat patients who are dealing with financial hardship on top of a health crisis. A discharged patient should not have to choose between filling a prescription and feeding their family.

As a Hospital Partner, your social work and case management teams receive a monthly allotment of store vouchers to distribute to patients and families who need them most.

  • Monthly store vouchers for your social work team to distribute.
  • Up to $500/monthly voucher allotment.
  • No cost to the hospital.
  • Supports patients beyond the clinical setting.

  • Ability to request items in bulk for special projects/initiatives.

  • Up to $6000 of yearly support

MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

     COMMUNITY PARTNERS

      SCHOOLS, NONPROFITS & MINISTRIES

Schools see families under stress every day. So do food banks, domestic violence programs, housing assistance offices, nonprofits and faith communities. Your staff already knows who needs help.

As a Community Partner, you receive monthly vouchers to put directly in the hands of the families your organization serves — and the option to nominate up to five families for deeper three-year program support.

  • Up to $600/monthly voucher allotment.
  • Expands your services without additional expense.
  • Option to nominate up to 5 families per yer to There Is Hope Project.

  • Ability to request items in bulk for special projects/initiatives.

  • Additional recognition as an A Lot of Good Community Partner
MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

     OUTREACH PARTNERS

     NONPROFITS & ADVOCACY GROUPS

Some organizations are deeply connected to families in need but may not need monthly support or may be out of the immediate vicinity of the A Lot of Good Thrift Store. This is exactly why the Outreach Partnership was created.

These organizations can get support by requesting assistance in the way of bulk requests for goods. Outreach Partners have a direct line to get help for families in need in emergency situations.

  • Named recognition across A Lot of Good communications.
  • Outreach Partners can request goods in bulk to support specific drives or causes.
  • Outreach Partners do not have to be in the Upland area.
  • Able to nominate up to 5 families per year to the There Is Hope Project.

Does it cost anything to become a partner?

No. Joining the A Lot of Good Partner Program is completely free for your organization. There is no fee, no membership cost, and no budget required on your end. The vouchers are provided to your team at no charge.

Do we have to manage a lot of paperwork?

No. We keep the process simple. Your team distributes vouchers to the families you choose. That is the main task. We handle the rest — the store, the inventory, the backpack drive, and the holiday gifts.

Does this replace our existing programs?

Not at all. The Partner Program is designed to work alongside what your organization already does — not replace it. Think of it as adding a service you did not have before. You keep doing what you do best. We fill a gap you may not have been able to fill on your own.

Who decides which families receive vouchers?

You do. Your counselors, social workers, or staff identify the families in your community who need support most. You know your families better than anyone. We trust your judgement completely.

Where is the A Lot of Good Thrift Store?

The store is located at 1980 W. Foothill Blvd. in Upland, CA. It is open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. Families simply bring their vouchers to the register and shop like any other customer — with dignity and at no cost.

What is the There Is Hope Project?

It is A Lot of Good’s flagship support program. Families enrolled in There Is Hope receive monthly gas cards, grocery gift cards, and free store shopping for up to three years — plus backpacks and holiday gifts every year. Community and Outreach Partners can nominate families for this deeper level of support. Find out more at alotofgood.org/thereishope.

When can my organization nominate families for There Is Hope?

Nominations are accepted each November for families who begin receiving support the following January. If you are interested, the best time to reach out is before November so we can get your organization approved in advance.
