Growing Together: A Lot of Good Expands Community Partnerships for 2026
At A Lot of Good, we believe real change happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose. That’s why we are incredibly excited to announce our expanded 2026 partnership network — the largest group of partner organizations we have worked with since launching our partnership initiative.
As a Upland-based nonprofit organization, our mission has always been centered on supporting families and individuals facing difficult circumstances throughout the Inland Empire and surrounding communities. In 2026, that mission will grow even stronger through partnerships with nonprofits, hospitals, ministries, outreach organizations, and local school districts that are making a direct impact every day.
“This is the largest number of Community Partners since launching the program,” said Sandy Cappelli, Founder and Executive Director of A Lot of Good. “We are especially excited to have four local school districts into the program for 2026 because of the direct impact these partnerships can have on children and families in need.”
The selected partners serve individuals and families facing a wide variety of challenges, including domestic violence recovery, childhood cancer support, addiction recovery, housing insecurity, grief counseling, congenital heart conditions, and other life-changing hardships.

One of the most impactful parts of these partnerships is the direct support provided to families in need. Community Partners receive monthly vouchers from A Lot of Good that can be distributed to families for free shopping at the A Lot of Good Thrift Store in Upland. These vouchers help provide clothing, household goods, and everyday necessities to families who may be struggling financially.
“The schools know which families are struggling and where the needs are greatest,” Cappelli said. “These partnerships create an opportunity to directly support the well-being of families while also positively impacting a child’s education and stability at home.”
In 2026 alone, the value of vouchers, clothing, household items, and essential goods distributed through these partnerships will exceed $100,000.
But behind every voucher and every donated item is something even more important: a community that cares.
Every donation to the thrift store, every customer purchase, every volunteer hour, and every financial contribution helps make these partnerships possible. The impact reaches far beyond one person or one organization — it creates hope for entire families across our communities.
“It takes an entire community to make this possible,” Cappelli added. “From the people who donate to the thrift store, to the customers who shop there, to every volunteer who gives their time — our mission truly reflects our tagline: ‘Together, we do A Lot of Good!’”
