A LOT OF GOOD ANNOUNCES 2023 PARTNERSHIPS
UPLAND, CA – A Lot of Good, a 501c3 nonprofit located in Upland, CA has announced the list of nonprofits, organizations, ministries and hospitals it will be partnering with in 2023. Each of the groups will be in one fo three distinct partner levels: Hospital, Outreach or Community.
“This is the most number of organizations we will be working with since we started the partnership project,” said Sandy Cappelli, founder and Executive Director of A Lot of Good. “We are really excited to be partnering with three local school districts in 2023.”
Aside from the school districts, partnering organizations focus on domestic abuse, childhood cancer, autism, congenital heart disease in children, low income housing, grief counseling, and more.
Hospital Partners are: San Antonio Regional Hospital, Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, Loma Linda University Medical Center, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and Kaiser-Permanente Hospitals in Ontario, Fontana and Baldwin Park.
Outreach Partners include: Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California (Loma Linda), Boys Club of Chino, Little Heart Warriors (Rancho Cucamonga), Olivia’s Closet (Rancho Cucamonga), Kennedy Austin Foundation (Pomona).
Community Partners for 2023 are: Inland Valley Hope Partners, Upland Community Resource Center, Shoes That Fit, Red Cross Inland Empire, Hope Through Housing Foundation, Pacific Lifeline, Foothill Family Shelter, Legacy Bridges Foundation, Upland Unified School District, Pomona Unified School District, and Ontario-Montclair School District.
According to Cappelli, “The Community Partners get monthly vouchers to distribute to families in need so they can shop for essential needs at the A Lot of Good Thrift Store in Upland. That’s why we’re so excited to have the schools involved now. They know what families need help and this partnership will have a direct impact on the family and the education of their children.”
Partners receive benefits for the full calendar year from A Lot of Good. The total amount of vouchers and goods distributed to the partners for families in need will exceed $300,000 for 2022 and is expected to be higher in 2023.
“It take a lot of people to make this all happen,” says Cappelli. “From people in the community donating to the thrift store, to the shoppers, and all of our volunteers, I truly mean it when I say our tagline of ‘Together, we do a lot of good!’”
