Red Cross & A Lot of Good Help Lytle Creek Fire Victims

Immediately after the evacuation of hundreds of families due to the Lytle Creek Fire, referrals started being received by A Lot of Good from the area Red Cross office.   An estimated 15+  families were being sent to request help for clothes and other immediate necessities since being displaced.

Families started coming in and were being given gift cards to Walmart, vouchers to shop at the A Lot of Good Thrift Store and some received special requests.  But, more needs to be done.

A Lot of Good has started a fundraising page to help the families who lost their homes in the devastating fire.  Your help is needed to share the URL and to make a donation to support the families who have no place to go. 100% of the donations will go directly to the families.

To make a donation, please visit https://alotofgood.org/LCFIRE.  One-time and recurring donations are accepted.  Checks can be sent to:

Sandy Cappelli, founder of A Lot of Good, stated that she “hoped that the site can raise at least $20,000 for these families.  It’s heartbreaking that everything they had is gone.”
