A LOT OF GOOD IN FOCUS – ESSENTIAL NEEDS PROGRAM
For 18 years, Steven’s Hope for Children supported families of seriously ill or injured children by providing families support that they could no longer afford due to their child’s illness. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of Steven’s Hope, A Lot of Good stepped in to continue two highly beneficial programs.
The Steven’s Hope program, Fill A Need, was redesigned and renamed The Essential Needs Program. The program focuses primarily on providing clothing and household items to families and individuals of all ages in need. This includes foster care, homelessness, seriously ill children, abused/neglected children, teen pregnancy and much more.
Requests for support come from nonprofits, ministries, churches, hospitals and organizations in the local community.
Under the dome of The Essential Needs Program are several projects. Those projects include The Partner Project (Community, Outreach & Hospital Partners), The Raising Hope Project (peer-to-peer fundraising program) and The W.A.Y. Project (year-long support of an individual/family).
