ANNOUNCING THE PARTNER PROJECT

Recently, A Lot of Good announced a new project of the Essential Needs Program: The Partner Project.  With this project, ALOG will be providing support to a limited number of “partners” in one of three categories.  Support will vary from donations of clothing to gas and grocery cards and financial support.

The three categories are:

Hospital Partners – These partners will be recipients of bulk distributions of clothing and additional support, like LoveBoxes and backpacks.  There is a maximum of ten Hospital Partners.   The list currently includes: Loma Linda University Medical Center, San Antonio Regional Hospital, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Kaiser-Permanente Hospitals (Fontana and Baldwin Park) and Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.

Community Partners – Nonprofits and ministries located in Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Claremont and Montclair are eligible to participate.  Each month of the year, each organization will receive gift cards to the A Lot of Good Thrift Store to distribute to individuals and families being supported. Additionally, one Community Partner per month will be highlighted and will be supported by a fundraising shopping day as well as financial contributions.  There is a limit of ten Community Partners which Foothill Family Shelter, Upland Community Resource Center and Pacific Lifeline, to name a few.

Outreach Partners – A maximum of ten nonprofits/ministries will be able to request gift cards and bulk support of clothing and other household goods, based upon their needs and availability. Current Outreach Partners include Megan’s Wings, Boys & Girls Republic, Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern California and Shoes That Fit.
